As a joint initiative taken by the Benin Embassy in Denmark and the Danish-Africa Society, the seminar allowed participants to discover the results of the archaeological excavations carried out by Dr. Inga Merkyte of the University of Copenhagen and her team in Benin as part of the Benin-Denmark Archeology Project.

The participants were also briefed on the new electronic visa system launched by the Government of Benin since 23 April 2018.

Finally, they were given first-hand information on the main tourism projects being implemented in Benin, thanks to a presentation through video-conference by Mrs. Nathalie Blanc Tchekete of the National Agency for the promotion of Heritage and the development of Tourism (ANPT).

In his closing remarks, the Ambassador of Benin to Denmark, HE Eusèbe Agbangla, thanked the President of the Danish-Africa Society, Mr. Carsten Dencker Nielsen, for his contribution to the success of the event and urged participants to make Benin their main destination for win-win investments and wonderful holidays on the beautiful beaches of Benin.
